My recent business trip to Chiang Dao Hostel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was chosen by my director, and I must say, it was a wise choice. The conveniences provided were top-notch, including complimentary bottled water, which was a much-appreciated gesture.
Dirty sheets.

Great value for money, friendly receptionist, peaceful surroundings, nice green area with hammocks by the brook, well-protected rooms against mosquitoes, close to Chiang Dao Cave and hot springs.
Felt cosy, no complaints at all.

The room at Chiang Dao Hostel was cozy and inviting, with a private bathroom fitted with a refreshing shower. As a laid-back traveler, I felt right at home here.
The only drawback for me was the lack of a kitchenette, but that's just my personal preference.

My mum and I had a lovely 2-night stay at this peaceful hostel. The location was great, just a short walk from the bus station, and we were able to visit the nearby Chiang Dao cave, Wat Tham Pha Plong, and hot springs with ease. The room with the balcony overlooking the stream was a highlight, and being close to nature was a nice touch. The owner, Cat, was incredibly kind and helpful, offering to drive us around and recommending delicious and affordable eating spots. We felt safe and enjoyed the quietness during our off-season stay. Would definitely recommend!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff were amazing, especially Kat. She saved me from the dog gauntlet, took us around in her car, and served delicious home-cooked meals. The hostel itself is a work of art with a serene garden and bamboo house by the river. A true gem.
Beds were like sleeping on boulders and the duvet was non-existent. The shortcut closes at 5pm and the "long" way is guarded by ferocious dogs, just what every guest wants.

Die Lage des Hotels war unglaublich, da es ganz in der Nähe des Ocean Drive und sehr sauber war. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter.

The room at Chiang Dao Hostel was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. It was like having our own little oasis.
The only downside was that the room didn't have a bathtub. But I guess some people prefer showers anyway.
